L'English Paper Piecing est une méthode traditionnelle de courtepointe et de patchwork consistant à coudre des formes à la main à l'aide de modèles en papier. Avec une variété de formes et de tailles disponibles, les possibilités de conception sont infinies.

Ces paquets de formes prédécoupées sont fièrement fabriqués en Angleterre, berceau du Paper Piecing anglais.

Nous utilisons cet hexagone de taille particulière pour notre modèle de couverture de bouillotte.

Les hexagones sont mesurés le long d’un côté de la forme.

Working well

I am first time EPP and I decided to use pre cut shapes. So far so good, there is enough thickness to feel where the papers are for stitching and so far I have not made a mess of them -yet. I am not using glue but basting and I am being coached by my friend who is a long time quilter. Small hexagons to start with but I am enjoying it so much I think I have yet another hobby- oops. I will be back for more as I prefer these to another brand she let me try.

I usually cut my own templates but I decided to buy a pack to go with the hot water bottle cover. I have used paper pieces from sew & quilt before (I am doing a block of the month with them at the moment) so I am aware of the quality and know that these will be just perfect for my project
