Life is busy and so are our minds much of the time, we find the best thing to calm them is a little creativity. We have gathered some beautiful materials so you can enjoy the fun part - making. We hope you will find that our slow stitch kits will lead to some soul soothing, enjoy every stitch x
This kit is is Christmas themed!
In this kit you will find some beautiful new & vintage fabrics and lace. There is also a pretty skein of hand dyed embroiderd thread from The Beautiful Stitch.
Along with all the pretty fabrics and lace, there are four little bags in your kit .....
The first bag contains two images stamped onto dissolvable fabric. To use these remove the backing paper and attach to your piece. Then after stitching the design, put your piece under slow running water to remove the backing and all you’ll be left with is your beautiful embroidery.
The second bag contains some english paper piecing supplies, seven Liberty of London fabric hexagons and seven paper templates. You can either stitch or glue baste these and appliqué to add to your project.
The third bag contains hand stamped images on vintage french linen, these are fusible. To use take a pin and score the back paper to remove, then place the little patch where you would like it and using an iron, press to adhere.
The last bag contains pretty adornments - pretty beads, sequins, vintage mother of pearl buttons and a charm or beads.
*You MAY find a tiny hole, darning or mark in the vintage pieces, this only adds to its beauty, you can even make it a feature in your slow stitching. Things like hems and selvages will be included too.
